Rupert Murdoch and his Faux News netword have every right to refuse to air the president’s news conference touting his first 100 days in office.
The White House has every right to refuse to grant press credentials and access to the White House press area to “Fox News”, not out of any retaliation but ONLY because the company really does not meet the requirements to be defined or qualified and journalists.
Even now, when the president’s remarks haven’t been written, we all can predict the Fox News response and “analysis”. That’s not news, it certainly isn’t analysis, and it is even a response because it’s prepared BEFORE the statement it claims to be answering.
We have every right to boycott Murdoch's businesses and their subsidiaries and programs.

From CBS News October 18, 2008, 3:33 PM
From CBS News' Maria Gavrilovic: (ST. LOUIS) Barack Obama’s rally in St. Louis today drew a record crowd with the local police estimating 100,000 people in attendance. Obama spoke on a small stage underneath the Gateway Arch at the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial in the middle of a sea of supporters who waved signs and cheered through out the 35-minute speech. “I think the winds of change are blowing all across America,” Obama told the crowd. “They’re blowing here in Missouri, they’re blowing in Michigan, they’re blowing in Illinois, they’re blowing in Virginia, and they are blowing in Ohio.” The last time Obama has seen a crowd this big was at Denver's Invesco Field on the night of his acceptance speech at the Democratic Convention, when 80,000 attended. Last May, Obama drew a crowd of over 70,000 in Portland, Oregon. Obama a blasted back at John McCain today for calling his tax policy “welfare,” accusing him of being out of touch with the middle class. “Let me repeat this - I’m not giving tax cuts to folks who don’t work, I’m giving tax cuts to people who do work,” Obama said. “John McCain is so out of touch with the struggles you are facing that he must be the first politician in history to call a tax cut for working people “welfare.” He added, “Let’s just be clear here George Bush and John McCain are out of ideas, they are out of touch, and if you stand with me in 17 days they’ll be out of time.”

Lillian is a 99-year old woman with a very unique background. In the last ten years, having pursued a college education and written four books in the process, she learned that you’re never too old, and it’s never too late to make a difference.
This November, she will be supporting Barack Obama for President for the same reasons… understanding that despite all the problems that plague the United States in 2008 — it’s never too late for CHANGE.
Her dream is, on her 100th birthday next spring, to receive a congratulatory phone call from President Barack Obama.

This article is a publicity stunt, by Karl Rove, to accomplish at least three things:
1. Make it look like the GOP really is at odds with McCain, and therefore McCain really will bring change to Washington.
2. Truly warn McCain to tone down the negativity of his adds because they are making him look bad.
3. Scare Obama away from being more aggressive, which he actually needs to be.

100 days to get the issues out there!
Well, at least this year, the media hasn't decided that the most important issue to our country's safety and continued existence is guys kissing, or not kissing I guess it should be. So guys (and ladies if you so desire), go ahead, even the republicans are to scared to worry about you right now.
The things that matter are not only obvious, but being felt every single day by every American out there. We need to get out of Iraq. We need to stop telling other countries that we may go attack Iran. We need a clean energy policy that cuts, or even better, eliminates our dependency on foreign fuel sources that are funding, both directly and indirectly, the terrorists we are supposedly fighting. We need to regain the trust of the rest of the planet by electing a president who puts the country before his multi-national, bid-disliking, conglomerate buddies. We need a health care system that cares about us and not just "dolla dolla bill, ya'll". We need a president that will not tip the already lopsided Supreme Court right over the edge into fascism. This time, people already know that these issues are destroying our country. Surprise, Surprise, crude prices are falling and the price at the pumps isn't changing. The McCain health plan? Good luck! The McCain energy policy? same 'ol same 'ol. And McCain's plan in the Middle East? I bet if we tried really hard, we could start a bunch more wars. I love a good western movie as much as the next guy, but bombs aren't usually considered to be the first choice in your arsenal of diplomatic tools.
People don't have to agree with every single issue. The important thing to realize is that if you care about ANY of the issues, there is only one man who will deliver what our country needs and it's Barack Obama.
I just cannot believe McCain! That stumble of a comment about 100 years of war is absurd. At least McCain has a son in jeopardy. My wife and I have three sons each of whom are two tour combat vetrerans of Iraq. Each has lost buddies. ONe went and earned a purple heart from shrapnel into the right leg from an RPG. Details of our sons can be seen on a blog entitled "blood and guts".
Our family have done more than enough. I do not trust Clinton to get out soon enough. She has a lot of favors to repay. Obama is our man.
