Seriously. She knows the math is against her. Is she waiting to take this to a floor fight in the convention? Does she really want to push things so far and so hard she is willing to risk all our chances at the White House?

What does she want?

Is she waiting for the Super Delagates to suddenly decide she can beat the Republicans and break her way? Is she waiting to accrue more political power? Is she waiting to that one-in-a-thousand Huckabee chance that she will be the nominee? Is she in this for self-aggrandizement? WHAT IS SHE DOING?

Yeah, I know she wants to be president. Guess what, it ain't gonna happen. If she does push this thing it will fracture the Democratic party, destroy our chances for the White House, lose the majority of the black vote, lose men, lose independents and lose college-educated Democrats. Does she seriously believe she can only win the White House with older white women as a voting block?

Does she really only care about herself THAT MUCH? My God. Maybe so. I thought she was smart. Come to find out she's nothing but another self-interested Republican.

I stand by what I said in an earlier post. I will NOT vote for this woman. I will leave the Democratic Party if she is nominated, particularly after what she has done and the things she has said about Barack Obama in the last several weeks.

We are going to lose this thing if she stays in. We will lose. She must be forced out. The Party must force her out. Who cares if older white women stay home? Got news for you. With the coalition Obama has put together we can win without them.

It's time for Party Leaders to show some backbone and meet with Hillary and make her understand she is destroying the Democratic Party. Yeah, it really is that simple.

Simple, yes. Obvious, even more so. But, I would be willing to bet that on the blogs of Hillary's supporters you'll be able to find an exact mirror-image of your posting, merely substituting names and gender references as appropriate.

I believe, though, that she has so internalized this; that she so believes in it as her own version of manifest destiny; that the thought of it being *almost* within her grasp will force her to reach for the brass ring, even if she falls off the donkey on the carousel that is American Politics. Crashed down there on the floor of the political wheel, we all may "feel her pain," but will be more sadly dejected at John McCain riding by on the next spin atop the elephant, brass ring in HIS hand. And as the calliope music fades, the carousel winding down for another four years, the eternal vision of what might have been fades into the night air.

And THIS is the profound and central difference between the two campaigns, and the part that hasn't caught on yet with enough people:

The Clinton campaign is all about THEM, as were the first two administrations. Listen to Barack and he's the point man in the larger goal of bringing diverse (and sometimes hostile) groups of people together. He's the facilitator, not the one to be "deified" atop a pedestal.

This is the point, this is the message. The Democratic party needs some cajones to go with that backbone. Counseling such a challenger to see the bigger picture, the greater good may well count in this case as the 13th labor of Hercules. But the political capital that she will gain in so doing will be awesome!

Yes, we can, and indeed, we MUST!
